An incident happens in the only village on the island. The village is commonly known as "liars' village" named after a serial murder incident that happened six years ago. In that time, there were three detention officers and a model prisoner taking a rehabilitation training on the island. By the scheduled day of the prisoner's release, however, the home government had not received any reports from the officers. Assuming something irregular, the home government dispatched an investigation team onto the island. There, the team found the four's carcasses. With all four seemed to be murdered, the team hypothesizes the existence of a fifth person and searched in every corner of the island. But they found nothing. As news of the incident spread and reached the home country's people, they thought that at least 1 person is a liar because the fifth person must exist to make this situation where all four people are killed. Since this incident, the village has been called as"liars' village". Six years passed. Detention officers including Yuri have come in the liars' village. They hold a rehabilitation training in the same way as six years ago, gathering clues to decide whether to release a model prisoner Alice or not. During the rehabilitation training, however, perplexing problems occur one by one: an unsigned letter, Sakura's disappearance and... Sakura, who knows the legend of liars' village in detail. Alice, a model prisoner with accumulated charges. Kiku, who claims Sakura is still alive after her disappearance. Yuri, who offers a treasure hunt in spite of the urgent situation. When the officers turn out to be former criminals, the all four become suspects. People disappear one by one. The legend of the lairs' village comes again on the scene after six years of silence.
